International Football at Hartfield Park

FORRESTFIELD UNITED are proud to present:

Young Socceroos vs Singapore
Venue: Hartfield Park
Date: Friday 4th August 2017
KO: 7pm
Entrance: $10 adults, $5 concession, children under 16 free.

FUSC and The City of Kamanunda would like to announce the hosting of the first international game in our region. It will be a great match and a fantastic opportunity for our younger players to see football played at the highest level, by the emerging stars of Australian & Singaporean football, in our own backyard.

Andy Osborne – President of FUSC said, I would like to thank Alex Novatsis and his team at Football West for entrusting Forrestfield United to host such an important game in the soccer calendar. It allows us to showcase our club and it’s fantastic new facilities to a state, national and even international audience. It will be a great occasion for our region, and one that I hope everyone will enjoy. A lot of hard work has gone on to develop and improve the club this year, and we are making great strides forward in achieving “NPL” status for our junior and senior teams. An event like this is great recognition of that hard work and is very definitely “the icing on the cake”.”

The game brings together the very best of the emerging talent in Australia and Singapore. The Young Socceroos are reigning champions of the ASEAN Football Federation U19 Cup, beating Thailand 5-1 in the final less than a year ago. Who knows, in a few years time, we may have a few Forrestfield players in this team.

Rod Banjac – Head Coach and Technical Director said, The privilege to host an international at Hartfield Park involving our Young Socceroos is a just reward for our hardworking, football passionate region.

This kind of event doesn’t happen very often in our community, so we hope you come along, support our national team, and most of all, have a great night.
