Members of FUSC

As President of FUSC I would like to formerly advise you that this year’s AGM will be on Wednesday 22nd November 2017 at the FUSC clubrooms, Hartfield Park commencing at 7.30pm.

In accordance with the club’s constitution the following positions shall be vacated and nominations called for:

  2. Treasurer                            (1 year term)
  3. Junior Secretary                (2 year term)
  4. Committee member (x4) (1 year term)

In accordance with the constitution, nominations are to be received by the Secretary at least 28 days prior to the AGM. Therefore the closing date for nominations received by the Secretary shall be Wednesday the 25th October.

A nomination form is attached. A reminder that the form must be signed by the nominee and an ordinary member.

Should no nominations be received or approved for any position, nominations for these positions may be called at the AGM, however should a nomination for a position be received, NO further nominations shall be possible after the closing date.

I am pleased to inform you that the following office bearers will renominate for another term:

Vice President – Phil Barker
Treasurer – Julie Nyatsambo
Committee – Mark Twamley, Brian Mansfield & Jesse Smith.

I would like to thank Ben Sinclair for his efforts during the past year and look forward to him continuing to contribute to the success of FUSC, albeit in another way.

For positions with multiple nominations, the election of officers shall be by a show of hands by members present at the AGM.

Should any member wish to submit a notice of motion or submit an item for general business, please provide a written notice to the Secretary at least 7 days prior to the AGM. No notices of motion shall be accepted on the night.

Directly following the conclusion of the AGM, we will hold a public forum. This will be an opportunity for any of our members to ask questions or make comment. The subject of “all matter” NPL and what it means for our club will be discussed at this point. A public forum is an informal meeting, questions do not have to be submitted prior to the meeting, and it is a great opportunity for you to “have your say”. We would like to invite you to ask any questions you might have.
