Forrestfield United will provide unprecedented video coverage of the club’s inaugural PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues WA season through live streaming and a video highlights package to be broadcast on a new YouTube TV channel.

In a first for the NPLWA, Forrestfield will work with Football West to ensure every home-and-away match is recorded capturing the highs and lows of the historic 2018 season.

Forrestfield United is preparing to embark on its first season in the top-tier competition for 31 years and the club is aiming to lead the way through its delivery of content across digital platforms.

With the launch of their own FUSC TV YouTube channel, match highlights will be available on the Football West website as well as the club’s TV channel. FUSC TV will feature pre-match interviews, match highlights and post-match reaction.

FUSC President Andy Osborne said the club wanted to make an impact on the NPLWA competition on and off the field.

“Forrestfield United has worked extremely hard to reach the NPLWA and we’re all determined to capitalise on this fantastic opportunity,” Osborne said. “We’re confident we have the experience and expertise to perform well in every match in 2018 but we also want to raise the bar in terms of increasing the profile of our club, this league and Western Australian football.”

“We’ve decided to take the initiative and film all our games, providing the footage for Football West’s NPL Highlights Show, and also making the most of the opportunity by providing extended highlights to our growing number of fans via FUSC TV on YouTube.

“We’re really excited to be part of the NPLWA and we’ll do everything we can to provide a positive story for WA football in 2018 and beyond.”
